Final week of the holidays. The sudden panic in schedule with much decision making to do. Worry, worry, worry. I shouldn't be so uptight over this. Sigh. Looks like the much delayed task is gonna be delayed to the next holiday again- clearing up my room. >_< Dread the start of the next semester. Anyway, here are some facts about the wonders of water that I was reading earlier on.

Water is important to the mechanics of the human body. The body cannot work without it, just as a car cannot run without gas and oil. In fact, all the cell and organ functions made up in our entire anatomy and physiology depend on water for their functioning.
  • Water serves as a lubricant
  • Water forms the base for saliva
  • Water forms the fluids that surround the joints.
  • Water regulates the body temperature, as the cooling and heating is distributed through perspiration.
  • Water helps to alleviate constipation by moving food through the intestinal tract and thereby eliminating waste- the best detox agent.
  • Regulates metabolism

In addition to the daily maintainence of our bodies, water also plays a key role in the prevention of disease. Drinking eight glasses of water daily can decrease the risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and it can potentially even reduce the risk of breast cancer. And those are just a few examples! And you know what the best news about drinking water for health benefits is? It's virtually free! You can drink over 4,000 glasses of tap water for the price of a six-pack of your favorite cola.

Nothing really makes sense to me now. Today was just such an emotion filled day. Why do people do the things they do? What makes it so convincing? Why do people believe in what they do?
-Habitual? Peer pressure? Or maybe a true personal encounter? Upff...

I am not gonna ever to take a taxi in te CBD area again unless absolutely necessary. Bloody expensive! I took a cab from Suntec to City Hall MRT today. Uh, or maybe I should say yesterday, considering it's pass midnight. Anyway, I paid by Visa so they gave me a receipt. Meter Fare $4, city area surcharge $3, peak hour 35% $1.40, admin charge $0.84, GST 0.06, Total $9.30. Suntec to City Hall MRT, $9.30! WTF!

I got my hair cut yesterday. Looks quite bad in my opinion. Gotta I wax it properly before I leave the house each time now. Sigh, I hope the self conscious thing will wear off after a while. Don't like feeling like this. Gets a lil irritating after some while. One thing for sure, I'm never going back there to cut my hair again.

Taught KC the basics of playing a guitar today. He's quite a fast learner. Which reminds me, I better practice my drums. I've been stagnant for quite a while. Haven't learnt anything new for months.

I'll try to sleep again.
